Contrasting Color picture

In this activity, we had to pick two colors that were contrasting colors which means they are on opposite sides of the color wheel which helps to make the picture stand out. We had to trace the fish and cut it out multiple times and then glue it onto the paper. We then get to use pre-cut strips of paper to create a background that also helps make the picture stand out more vibrantly.

Extension Activity: Science lesson. In a science lesson, students would get to research and chose whatever animal they wanted and then they would still complete the artwork lesson but then they would have to write a brief description of why they chose that animal and 3 fun facts about that animal they learned.  Students would also get the option to share with the class about the animal they chose and the fun facts they learned about that animal.
